Dawn Bailey holds a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from the University of Toronto and a Master of Music in Early Music Performance from McGill University. She has performed and recorded extensively with early music ensembles in Canada and Europe, including appearing as a soloist on Ensemble Caprice's Juno-award winning album "Vivaldi and his Angels." Dawn took her first yoga class at the age of fifteen in a summer music program. She continued to study yoga in the hopes of improving her singing performance by finding a deeper connection to her body and breath. In 2008 she completed a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training program, and since that time has taught several yoga workshops specifically geared toward singers, as well as continuing to deepen her own yoga practice and to explore the connections between yoga and the voice.
