Elevating Treble Voices, Embracing Musical Diversity

About Us

Ariose is dedicated to choral excellence through exploration and performance of music written for treble voices. The choir performs a rich and diverse repertoire that spans cultures, styles, and traditions. Ariose is passionate about supporting Canadian composers and promoting the creation of new works, reflecting the stories and voices of our time. Through engaging performances and a collaborative, welcoming, and diverse community, Ariose seeks to inspire singers and audiences alike, fostering an appreciation for the beauty and power of choral singing.

Ariose Celebrates 30 Years

As Ariose celebrates its 30th anniversary in the 2024-2025 season, we reflect on a journey of artistic growth and deep community connections. Over the past three decades, Ariose has evolved into one of Edmonton’s premier treble choirs, dedicated to performing diverse, challenging repertoires, especially those of Canadian composers. Beyond our musical achievements, we've witnessed our members grow personally—celebrating engagements, marriages, and the birth of new generations. These shared milestones have fostered a strong, enduring bond, making Ariose not just a choir, but a family.

"I have been in Ariose for the past 10 years. Wednesday nights have easily become my favourtie time of the week. I got engaged at the Legislature right before an Ariose concert. I cannot begin to explain how much this choir means to me."
